The iMac
Over the 20+ years that PC Plus Solutions has been doing repairs we’ve collected quite a few laptops and computers, many still in complete working order. This iMac is one of those cases, so we’ve replaced the old hard drive with a new 500gb HDD and are selling it for $350. Being a classic Apple product even in the modern day its quality and reliability outshines new low-end computers (and its half the price too!). With the large 21-inch vibrant display that iMacs are known for this computer is perfect for a home office to let you receive emails and surf the web.
The OS
Because of its age the latest mac operating system that can be installed is High Siara so instead we have opted to install the latest version of Zorin OS. Zorin is a popular Linux distribution known for its speed, quality and ease of use. Its design intentionally takes inspiration from both Mac OS and Windows to make it make transitioning to Zorin OS easy and stress free. Tech Republic described Zorin as “absolutely fantastic. It’s the perfect mixture of fun and professional” – Zorin OS 16 is exactly what a Linux desktop distribution should be | TechRepublic.
