Karen Macrae

Karen co-founded PC Plus in 2001 with her son Damian. With her diploma in Business, bachelor degree in Psychology, numerous certifications in computer programming & system applications, combined with her previous experience managing other family businesses it was a natural progression to develop and manage PC Plus Solutions successfully for the last 20 years.
Damian decided to leave the business after 5 years leaving Karen to run the business as a solo woman enterprise. Karen is a knowledgeable computer technician as well as a hands on manager. You can find her in the shop taking care of new computer builds, repairs and troubleshooting while also supervising our staff and handling the administrative side of things.
When at home Karen loves spending time with her snow puppy, two cats, looking after her garden, renovating her 1940’s home and when the mood strikes enjoys playing her piano and cello.
Daryl Fraser
Callout Technician
Daryl has been with PC Plus for many years now and is our main callout technician. He’s experienced in those particular jobs that need fixing in your home, networking, wireless and virus clean-ups where bringing your computer down to the shop is just not practical.
Daryl has qualifications in PC & networking and Microsoft A+ certifications, as well as 12 years hands-on experience with PC Plus.
Daryl also loves gardening, gaming, music and repairing his friends computers on his days off. He is often bringing in goodies at work, including plant cuttings and various in-season fruits for us to enjoy!
Laura Agudelo
Reception
Originally from Colombia, Laura has lived, studied and worked in Australia since 2013 and is one of our part-time receptionists.
She most recently worked in the city’s Apple store and is an experienced customer service and retail assistant.
Laura also founded and runs a video production company over at Rolling Studio, so she loves to help out with your video-related questions.
Laura takes your calls and assists at the front desk on Thursdays, Fridays and the occasional Saturday.
Rebecca Macrae
Reception | Admin
Rebecca has worked with us at PC Plus on and off for many years now, taking the occasional time off to travel overseas, move interstate or most recently have her first child.
Having previously worked in retail, hotels and as administrative assistants at various companies, Rebecca brings a professional and friendly demeanour to PC Plus.
She’s now back from maternity leave and working one day a week on admin and bookkeeping and helping out on reception.

Eddie is an Alaskan Malamute snow puppy and dedicated part-time shop supervisor.
As a certified Good Doggo, Eddie loves to go for runs, especially on her weekly trip to the The Spit dog beach at the Gold Coast.
Damian Macrae
Ex- Founder | Technician
Damian co-founded PC Plus with Karen as the Head Technician.
The travel bug took over and he left to travel the country and sometimes the world, Damian’s now living just south of Perth and working as a Surveyor.
Simone Macrae
Web Developer
Simone is the PC Plus webmaster. She founded and runs Essarem Digital and looks after all things web-related.
Based in Melbourne, she works remotely and online for clients all over Australia and the world.
